Getaway with u3a!

Booking is easy, either select the preferred tour and click book now, following the instructions online, or alternatively, please call the dedicated u3a getaways telephone number on 01603 886 773.

Our opening hours are 9 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am - 5 pm Saturday.

Every u3a getaway includes accommodation, dinner, & breakfast, as well as a welcome drink on the first evening as standard. Please review each itinerary for supplementary benefits which may incur an additional charge.

The deposit amount is stated on each holiday and is non-refundable after booking. We strongly recommend you purchase optional travel insurance, which can protect you against cancellation charges in the event of ill health.

The date for paying the balance of your holiday will be stated on your Holiday Confirmation Invoice and is generally eight weeks before departure.

Please notify us at the earliest possible opportunity if you are unable to travel, and we will provide you with the cancellation paperwork to help you claim via your travel insurance.

Please advise of any special requests and dietary requirements at the time of booking. We will try our best to accommodate these, but please note they are only requests and cannot be guaranteed.

Whether you’re travelling with friends or setting off independently, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, informal and relaxed.

While single-bedded rooms do not carry a supplement, double or twin occupancy rooms for sole use do incur a supplement, and these are clearly stated on each holiday.

The u3a getaway brand has been created specifically for u3a members; however, if you have a friend who is not a u3a member, they are welcome to book on the holiday with you.

Travel insurance is not mandatory for u3a Getaway holidays; however, we strongly recommend that you arrange suitable cover. For your convenience, we offer a travel insurance policy that can be purchased for just £10 per person.
