Interesting Facts
- The hotel was originally a house built in 1905 named Fuzze Freeze, but during World War II
- After the end of the Great War, the Rt. Hon. Richard Farrer Baron Hershell, esquerry and Lord in Waiting to H.M. King George V bought the house for £6,950 and renamed it Fetlar House
- In 1941 the hotel was taken over by a camp and used as a Naval Base known as HMS Blazer.
